I am just a simple lady who dreams to have a happy and contented life. I dream to finish my studies and become a successful individual in a field where I chose to put my self on. I would like to put up my own business someday to ensure a better future for my family. And I dream of finding a partner who’ll be there beside me for the rest of our lives.

But dreams will always be dreams if the one who’s dreaming won’t make some actions. So, as for now to make my dream a reality, I am focusing on my studies, I am doing my best. And I will do everything to give Dream a better name- Reality. These dreams are my future and no one could live with dreams, we should live with realities. And so, actions are needed.

A small crack can cause the destruction of a big dam, like big dreams destroyed by small mistakes. But we can still prevent it from happening, let’s start the change with ourselves! Let’s begin the change for a better future.

Poor studying habit really can affect the performance of a student inside the class. Especially now that technologies are rapidly being introduced to them, like the increasing number of social networking sites. I am not saying that these sites should be eliminated, but I am saying that these can cause too much on the part of the students.

We can’t put all the blame to these networking sites, since they can’t affect the students if these students would not join them. And these sites help the students to improve their abilities. Students who indulge their selves too much to these sites should think. They should not spend all their time in these sites and that they also should find time for their studies. And these CHANGES are all up to them!

And now I ask you, are you going to start it now?

Third grading has uncontrollably met its end, and it only signifies that we are also heading to our last days here at this campus 'cause fourth grading is coming. Third grading wasn't that easy but I can tell that I have learned a lot. And one of them is the processes on web designing. It's good to know the art of transforming a lifeless web page into a more attracting one. But every situation has its shortcomings, but I managed to cross them. And now I can tell that I am ready to step forward to the fourth grading period.

Its time to bid goodbye to the third grading period. And welcome the fourth grading with open arms! Finals, seniors ball, high school day, graduation day and college life, here it comes!

IT IS Christmas.

Christmas is everywhere. From the colorful and elegant Christmas decorations to the golden voices of carolers who are gracefully singing Christmas songs. But let's have a pause and think about this: What is the real meaning of Christmas? Is it about the gifts that we receive? The Christmas decors we place all over our house? Or is it because of the food we prepare on noche buena? Hmmm. Well, if it is because of all the above mentioned things, you better ask yourself, again.

Christmas is the birth of our savior, and it's our duty to pay back the love He has given us. In our own little ways we can show him that He is also important to us, and that we also love Him. We can show it by sharing what we have to people who can't afford to have them by themselves. We can also show our love to Him by loving our fellow creatures.

In such ways, we can show the true essence of Christmas. And be proud to tell everyone the real definition of it. Then say, 'it is Christmas!"

Challenges make life colorful, they bring the best in us. Born to make life more interesting and thrilling. What's life without challenges? A boring one, right? God won't give us things that He knows we can't handle. It's just us who sees the dark side first and keep on believing in that perception.

We can overcome such challenges if only we have the courage to face it. Challenges come our way to test our bravery, strength and ability to make sound decisions for our lives. And courage is the only great thing we need to succeed in challenges that come along our way.

So, be strong and keep strong in facing challenges!

Teaching?
You have to be knowledgeable of what you are talking in front of your students. You must show them a very nice model.And has a goal of helping his/her student to realize and achieve their goals in life.
Teachers seem to have a great load at their shoulders ,and they really are.They are the one who's responsible for the students when they are inside the campus, and to think that in a classroom, students outnumber the teacher. And it's really a stressful work.
So, I would like to express my praises and gratitude to all the noble teachers, for their untiring guidance to us-the students.I salute you all for your dedication, though we know that your work is hard, you see to it that we enjoy our time at your classes. If there would be a more appropriate word than "thank you" to express my gratitude I will use it, just to show you how thankful I am to have you.
Yes, without teachers, lawyers, doctors,engineers and accountants would not be there. So, hail to all the teachers who are very dedicated with their work, we THANK YOU SO MUCH. You are our LIGHT!

the TrAnSfOrMaTiOnS.

Nowadays, we can not deny the fact that science through inventions have touched our lives deeply.In this present generation,who do you think will be comfortable without electricity? Who can live a day without a cellphone? And who doesn't feel like a total freak without surfing the net for only a short period of time?
I,myself, can not even think of surviving without these technologies,because it has done a great lift from what I heard of the most-often-told-stories of the past generation.That life has been so hard but through science,life has transformed to an easier and better one.
And we can barely state that ideas in science sometimes changes,which was the reason why we've got a better life now than the ancient period.And that all we have to do is to adapt ourselves to these changes for us to see its true beauty.Because at times we criticize or judge a thing with what we only see and know without thinking what it really means.
And so we must say,"LET US ADAPT TO DIVERSE SCIENCE CULTURE FOR DEVELOPMENT!"

Outreaching........

This year's theme for Filipino month celebration is "Wikang Filipino Mula Baler Hanggang sa Buong Bansa"-(Filipino Language from Baler to the Whole Nation.)As the theme goes,this year's celebration focuses on where the language originated and to where it is directed .The mission of this year's celebration is to spread out the Filipino language as a medium of conversation among the Filipinos.Though we all know that each of the places all over the country have their own dialect, it would still be better if we the Filipinos can speak and understand this language.It is like raising your hands up high and reaching the hands of others.Because through this language, we can strengthen our bonds as Filipinos and we'll be proud of our country 'coz we know that we are different from them.And we will have our own identity as Filipinos by this language.And when they hear someone speaking with the Filipino language,they'll say, "Oh! He is a Filipino."

At The Beginning...........

Every start is difficult, especially when we don't have any idea with what we are doing.
I was like having a trip without a definite route when I first had the TLE ICT IV, which was one of our subjects. Even though I have an idea what and how is it going to be- dealing with computers and all those stuffs. TLE ICT IV deals with the inside of computer, the internet. I have learned here the history of internet and its features.
In everything we do, we always encounter problems. And honestly speaking, the only problem that worries me is that I am not a computer literate. I am not like my classmates who knows all the stuffs about it. And it's good that my classmates were very supportive , they told me that it is reason why I am there-to learn. And they also told me to stop worrying 'cause it is going to be fine and fun, and so, I just did what they say.
Moving on, I will just enjoy the whole time of our TLE ICT IV. And I will do my best to cope with every lesson and activity we are going to perform.

Be Competitive!

Practice plus right process makes perfect.
Speaking in English or Filipino is a thing that cannot be obtained in just one sitting. Usually, it takes a lot of practice and a long time for a person who is not used to these languages to master it. Because, the usage of words can be different. It can be used in a literal way which the words used means the ordinary. And it can also be used in idiomatic expressions where the literal meaning of the words used is different from the stated expressions.
Speaking in English or Filipino fluently is a great skill to be proud of, since not everyone can speak to either of this languages fluently. But the kindness in speaking these languages has a greater honor.
So, let us practice speaking in English or Filipino with total kindness. Speak with great respect to the one you are talking with. Speak with a big concern to the feelings of others. And speak what is in your mind the best way you can, avoiding hurting other's feelings. Cause speaking with kindness will make us stand-out among the rest.
Let us speak with kindness and let us be competitive!

Prioritize Nutrition!

Nutrition can be obtained by many ways. Proper diet,exercise and clean environment. But we are not living in a same lifestyle that fits to others and what they can afford. And this lifestyle can bring diseases if they are not performed properly.
Lifestyle diseases are caused by the things that we are used to do. For instance, a girl is used to have meat for meals. We all know that meat or fatty meats rathar can cause diseases such as hypertension, though it can also do good by providing nutrients like protein. But excessive intake of it can bring harm, as what we always say "everything that is taken or done which is beyond the normal is harmful".
And in cooperation to this, Ilocos Sur National High School also conducts activity in celebration of the nutrition month. They sponsor contests like cook fest and food fest, that endorses and shows the nutritious foods.
So, let us check our lifestyle and change to a better one. In doing so, prioritize the nutrition that we can get from the food we take. Let us be one, avoid lifestyle diseases. And let us be one in endorsing good nutrition.
